  1. Hello Jean, I’m Bill Sullivan who lived down the street on Shorewood Road in PV. Was good friends with Billy, Scott Urban, the Cannon brothers and others in our younger years. Mr. Snow helped me so much with my first bug. I’ll always remember that.
    Hope all is well!

    • Hello Mr Sullivan, How are you doing. Thank you for the comment you left on my blog. I am working my way through all of my writing as I am preparing a book on grief and loss based on my experience with the loss of my parents. I found your comment on my Snow Posts Blog and it touched me deeply. I apologize for not having replied before. I’m very glad to finally have your comment approved and posted on my blog. I’m also happy to share a catch up on the status of my family. Willard (Billy) has finally landed in a safe space as an artist, as well as building a business to generate income with his art. In October 2016, Willard married Irene Karson and they moved to Yucca Valley, Ca where they lived in a travel trailer for a short time while looking for a home. In 2018, he and Irene bought a 1960’s rambler with detached garage on three acres in Flamingo Heights outside of Yucca Valley. They have been renovating what is now called Rock and Roll Ranch and it is becoming a great show piece for his art as well as a comfortable art studio an home. Together Irene, Willard, and I have established an Airbnb guest accommodation business there also. There are two comfortable travel trailers parked on the property which serve as guest bungalows. We are also working on adding two additional guest bungalows. Rock and Roll Ranch sits on a knoll with a view of the surrounding picturesque desert. Shade trees and a variety of interesting out buildings and artwork make it a unique experience for visitors to the Joshua Tree National Park area. Rock and Roll Ranch Guest Accommodations is available for booking on airbnb.com and is also on Facebook. Willard’s children live in Utah. His oldest child, Audrey is married and has two children, a boy and a girl, who are a delight. His two grown boys are working and making lives of their own, his youngest lives with his mother. I live in Eagle, Idaho and have an Amazon Seller business. I also work with Willard to promote his art. Willard’s long time friend, Mark Knudsen recently premiered a documentary about Willard’s odyssey as an artist. It was shown at the Beverly Hills Film festival in April and will be shown again this summer. I’ll let you know that place and date.We have two sisters who live in Utah, and one that lives in Texas. I’ve been visiting Willard and a gentleman friend in California for the past two years and have been able to make several pilgrimages to Palos Verdes. I have fallen in love all over again with my hometown. I am amazed that we were able to grow up in such a beautiful and distinctive place and that it retains its special character in the face of the metropolis that surrounds it. I will be visiting there every chance I get. Thanks again for reaching out. Sincerely, Jeannie Snow VanOrden, Catchfire Creative Living on Amazon
